Job summary

Far East Consortium International Limited is recruiting a Building Services Inspector to support on-site execution in Hong Kong. The role requires a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a real estate developer, and strong English and Chinese communication skills.

The position involves on-site stationing, coordination of BS Works, and liaison with government departments and utilities. Travel to Mainland China may be required, with attractive remuneration and promotion

Qualifications

• Not less than 8 years relevant experience, preferably in Real Estate Developer.
• HK project experience is a must.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Report to Project Director / Project Manager / Project BS Engineer.
• Station on site or other location as assigned.
• Monitor site progress and quality of BS works.
• Inspect materials and workmanship used in BS Works.
• Coordinate site variations and BS Works against requirements.
• Assist to resolve site problems.
• Witness tests on works and inspect rectification works.
• Liaise with project team and government departments & public utilities for BS Works on site.
• Attend meetings as required.

Far East Consortium International Ltd is a renowned Real Estate Developer in HK. To meet with our fast expansion plan in HK and Mainland China, we are recruiting a Building Services Inspector with attractive remuneration and well promotion opportunity, under the following requirements:

Responsibilities

Report to Project Director / Project Manager / Project BS Engineer

Station on site or other location as assigned

5.5 days work per week

Act as site representative and carry out duties under the direction of the Project Manager / Project BS Engineer

Assist Project Manager / Project BS Engineer on the project management and quality assurance works, including but not limited to:

Monitor site progress and quality of BS Works

Inspect and examine materials used and workmanship employed in BS Works

Coordinate site variations and BS Works against the requirements

Assist to resolve site problems

Inspect all BS Works before covering up

Witness of tests on works, identify defects & inspect the rectification works

Liaise and coordinate with project team and government departments & public utilities companies for BS Works on site

Attend meetings as required

Make records and reports as required

Travel to Mainland China may be required

Carry on such other duties as directed by Project Director / Project Manager / Project BS Engineer

Requirements

Higher Certificate or higher diploma holder of any recognized examining body in a recognized subject

Not less than 8 years relevant experience, preferred in Real Estate Developer

HK project experience is a must

Honest, responsible and reliable

Self-initiative and hard working under pressure

Skillful in prevailing computer software

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
