JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Broker to join our Hong Kong team, serving a diverse portfolio of corporate and commercial clients across multiple industries. This role is ideal for professionals with strong market knowledge and a passion for delivering tailored risk solutions. You will be responsible for business development, client servicing, and placement across various lines of insurance.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, providing strategic risk advisory and insurance placement services.
• Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct risk assessments and gather underwriting information to support optimal coverage recommendations.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals, negotiate terms with insurers, and ensure timely placement.
• Manage renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and claims support, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers and other stakeholders to ensure competitive and comprehensive solutions.
• Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
• Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:

• Bachelor’s degree holder, with insurance qualifications to practice as an insurance broker in Hong Kong (i.e. IIQE Paper 1 & 2) is a must.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance broking or risk advisory, preferably with exposure to corporate clients.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products such as property, casualty, liability, financial lines or employee benefits etc.
• Proven ability in client relationship management and business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
