Job summary

Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation seeks an experienced nurse to assist in daily Centre operations, including screening and diagnostic services, with direct clinical duties and data filing. The role requires effective communication, and the ability to support physicians during consultations and procedures.

The successful candidate will supervise nursing staff, perform IV punctures, and deliver public education on breast health.

Qualifications

• Holder of valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
• Minimum 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Fluent in spoken Cantonese and English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operation of the Centre including screening, diagnostic service delivery and data filing.
• Perform direct clinical breast examinations for clients and support physicians during consultations and procedures.
• Supervise, mentor and manage nursing staff in similar clinical duties.
• Perform intravenous puncture safely and efficiently.
• Provide informational support to clients on breast health and screening services.
• Deliver public educational programmes on breast care and early detection, including talks and community events.
• Develop and implement promotional initiatives to raise public awareness of the Centre and its services.
• Maintain inventory of consumable supplies and service records for medical and screening equipment.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
