Job summary

JMS Singapore Pte Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a Boiler Attendant to monitor and operate steam boiler and facilities equipment, following maintenance schedules and safety procedures.

The role requires a Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a Class 1/2 Boiler Certificate and at least 3 years of relevant experience; training will be provided. You will coordinate with contractors and support plant renewal activities on rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Class 1/Class 2 Boiler Certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years of boiler attendant experience.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate machineries as per requirement.
• Carry out periodic checking, servicing and recording of the steam boiler and other facilities equipment / system.
• Removal and installation of ETO gas cylinders as per usage or demand.
• Monthly preparation of filters elements for plant renewal usage.
• Routine renewal of filter for compressor, water process plants, AHU and exhaust system.
• General repair and periodic preventive maintenance works of facilities and equipment.
• Co-ordinate and assist contractors in repair or installation works.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
