Job summary

JLL in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Facilities Engineer to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot BMS across multiple sites. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and VAV systems.

You will analyze system performance data to identify energy-saving opportunities and support decarbonization initiatives, while responding promptly to critical alarms to minimize downtime and maintain tenant comfort.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Holder of REW B0 license is a must.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC facilities management within commercial, retail or high-rise buildings.
• Proven expertise in BMS platforms - including configuration, trending, alarm management and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, hydronic systems, airside distribution, and energy efficiency principles.
• Familiarity with IoT-enabled building technologies and data analytics tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to details and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot BMS across multiple sites.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, cooling towers, and VAV systems.
• Analyze system performance data to identify energy-saving opportunities and support decarbonization initiatives.
• Respond promptly to critical alarms and system failure to minimize downtime and maintain tenant comfort.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to execute system upgrades, retro-commissioning and capital projects.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configuration, as built-drawings, and operational procedures.
• Support compliance with local regulations and client-specific engineering standards.
