Job summary

ESF Explore is seeking enthusiastic Basketball Coaches for part-time, hourly work in Hong Kong. The role requires Level 1 coaching qualification, at least 2 years of experience with children aged 5+, and fluent English. Applicants must be permanent HK residents or have a valid visa to work.

You will plan, organise and deliver progressive, fun sessions and collaborate with the ESF Explore team. Passion for basketball and ability to engage children, plus IT and social media savvy, are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 1 qualified basketball coach.
• Minimum 2 years experience coaching children aged 5+.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience planning, organising and delivering high-quality coaching sessions for young children.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office and social media use for engagement.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with infectious passion for the game.
• Permanent Hong Kong resident or valid work visa.

ESF Explore is looking for Basketball Coaches on a part-time, hourly basis.

The ESF Tigers Basketball Programme seeks to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic coaches with proven experience working with young children in an extra‑curricular environment.

If you have a National Governing Body-approved qualification in coaching basketball and can demonstrate experience in planning, organising, and delivering high-quality, progressive, and fun basketball coaching sessions to children aged 5 years—15 years, as well as an outgoing personality and an infectious passion for the game, then we want to hear from you.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 1 qualified basketball coach


• Minimum 2 years experience working as a basketball coach with children aged 5+


• Fluency in written and spoken English


• Must demonstrate experience of planning, organising and delivering high-quality and appropriate coaching sessions for young children aged 5+


• Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team


• Able to use various IT programmes (Microsoft Office) and engage with social media


• Pleasant, friendly and approachable character


• Additional coaching qualifications in other sports would be useful


• Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
