The Gig

As our Bartender (All Rounder) you will be charged with providing our guests with the best night they’ve ever had. You know your Manhattan’s from your martini’s and a rocking shift starts with the right prep. You love mixing classic and new creations, and your banter keeps guests coming back and the Crew smiling too. This position is Part-Time.

About you

You must be able to perfectly prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including mixing ingredients to prepare classic and must have cocktails experience. You should be happy to work on the floor or section as well.

• Describes all bar items; methods of preparation and prices as needed. Must have extensive knowledge of all bar/menu items
• Proper shaking, mixing, and stirring techniques using required shakers, bar spoon, beakers, jiggers, Hawthorne/Juniper strainers
• Extensive knowledge of the surrounding area, events, and directions to guide and enhance a guest’s local experience
• Keep the bar clean and well-organized, and ensure it is always fully stocked
• Works with guests to accommodate special requests and dietary needs
• Utilize suggestive selling on established menu items or specials to maximize beverage revenues
• Serves menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Performs pre and post-shift side work; setup, breakdown, condiments, etc
• Responds to guest inquiries and special requests promptly to ensure satisfaction; notifies supervisor of complaints and unusual situations
• Cash handling and balancing bank at the end of each shift; calculates tip outs
• Observes guests to fulfill additional requests and completes assigned side work as directed
• Familiarizes self with all items on a daily basis and cleans up after events
• Follows standard food handling, TIPS, sanitation and health department guidelines
