Job summary

The role requires Python and/or PySpark/SQL proficiency, experience with large datasets, and fluency in English and Chinese. Collaboration with business and compliance teams will be essential to deliver timely insights.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
• Experience in data analysis with large datasets, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PySpark/SQL with data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with banking data or cloud/big data tech is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean and analyze data from diverse sources to support risk reviews.
• Analyze customer and transaction data to identify risk patterns and potential financial crime risks.
• Support data analysis and model development by building data extraction logic and validating results.
• Collaborate with business and compliance teams to meet data needs and deliver timely analyses.
• Present analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.
