Job summary

PIONEER SERVICES PTE. LTD. invites a Software Engineer to join our engineering team and build product features across backend, frontend, or full-stack applications in a fintech context.

You will work with Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and AWS to deliver production systems, improve performance and scalability, and collaborate with experienced engineers in a fast-paced fintech environment. This role offers strong growth and hands-on learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Java with strong OOP fundamentals.
• HHands-on experience with Java Spring Boot for large-scale microservices and integration with Redis, Kafka, MySQL, and job scheduler.
• Fullstack experience with TypeScript and React is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Interest in fintech, blockchain, or scalable backend design.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to backend, frontend, or full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and AWS.
• Write clean, testable code following team standards and mentor guidance.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily standups to learn agile.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Product to ensure smooth deployment and operation of services.
• Research and propose ways to improve system reliability and developer productivity during replatforming.
