Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree holder in finance or related discipline.
• 5–8 years+ fixed income trading experience.
• Hold or eligible to apply RA1 and RA4 licenses from the SFC.
• Familiar with financial market products and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Chinese and English, including Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Market-making in the secondary bond market and provide liquidity and quotations.
• Provide FX and interest rate product quotations and trading services.
• Coordinate with sales to expand business and communicate market conditions.
• Participate in market trading activities to generate profit and prepare regular activity reports.
• Manage trading book risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Responsible for the market-making in secondary bond market and cash bond quotations, providing market liquidity for customers;
• Provide foreign exchange and interest rate products quotations and trading services for clients;
• Communicate with the sales team on market conditions, cooperate with sales team to actively expand business;
• Actively participate in market trading activities to make profit; prepare reports on trading activities and market performance on regular basis;
• Manage the risks of the trading book, ensuring trading process complies with internal policies, trading limits, legal and compliance requirements;
• Such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by your superiors.

Skills & Experience

• Degree Holder or above in finance or related business discipline;
• 5-8 years+ of fixed income trading experience;
• Familiar with financial market products and understand the compliance requirements of regulatory authority;
• Hold or eligible to apply RA1 and RA4 licenses from the SFC;
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with good analytical capability;
• Strong analytical and computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Good spoken and written Chinese and English, including Mandarin;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage.
