Job summary

KPMG China is seeking an Audit professional to join our assurance team in Hong Kong. You will audit financial statements under IFRS, US GAAP and local standards, participate in IPO-related engagements, and supervise field teams with on-site guidance.

Requirements include a Bachelor degree or above and 2+ years of external audit experience from a major CPA firm, CPA preferred. Strong English, Cantonese or Mandarin and willingness to travel complete the profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in any discipline; 2+ years external audit experience.
• CPA Qualification is preferred.
• Strong technical skills and able to research accounting issues across GAAPs.
• Strong business awareness and ability to identify audit issues from commercial transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.
• Team player, able to multi-task, works well under pressure.
• Willingness to travel on business demand.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements and group reporting under IFRS, US GAAP and other local standards.
• Work on assurance engagements such as review, SOX, agreed-upon-procedure and IPO-related engagements.
• Supervise your engagement field team and provide on-site training.
• Act as the audit in-charge for larger clients and carry out fieldwork and assurance assignments.
• Maintain regular communication with the line manager, partner and client on issues and progress.
