Qualifications

• 3-8 years of relevant experience in private equity buyout investments across developed Asia.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation capabilities, including LBO modelling.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess business quality, scalability, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders across complex, cross-border transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear investment recommendations.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis, including LBO modelling and scenario analysis.
• Drive end-to-end execution workstreams: due diligence coordination, data room management, and advisor engagement.
• Evaluate investment opportunities with a buyout/control lens, including capital structure optimisation, downside protection, and value creation levers.
• Prepare Investment Committee memoranda and presentation materials with clear articulation of thesis, risks, and mitigation strategies.

The role requires a hands-on investor mindset, combining rigorous financial analysis with commercial judgement and the ability to engage directly with management teams across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Execution

• Lead detailed financial modelling and valuation analysis, including LBO modelling, returns attribution, and scenario analysis.
• Drive end-to-end execution workstreams: due diligence coordination (commercial, financial, legal), data room management, and advisor engagement.
• Evaluate investment opportunities with a buyout/control lens, including capital structure optimisation, downside protection, and value creation levers.
• Prepare high-quality Investment Committee memoranda and presentation materials with clear articulation of thesis, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Support deal structuring and negotiations, including SPA terms, shareholder agreements, and financing arrangements.
