Job summary

Hitachi Rail in Hong Kong is seeking a Safety Engineer to define and verify safety requirements for train control systems, performing safety analyses to ensure safety of hardware and software. • Computer skills, MS Office; DOORS, FTA tools.

• Knowledge of system requirements definition/design, safety and risk analysis
• Knowledge of reliability and safety analysis techniques
• Computer skills, MS Office; DOORS, FTA tools

Good to have

• Experience with or exposure to safety/mission-critical systems design, and exposure to hazard, fault-tree and failure modes and effects analysis, statistical modeling and analysis of complex software/ hardware/human interface systems
• Knowledge with RAMS railway standards, such as EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, EN50716Yellow Book
