China Merchants Securities International Company Limited seeks an Associate for Securities Inventory Management in Global Markets. You will monitor stock inventory, analyze demand, and develop pricing models to align with market conditions.
The role requires a strong background in Python, VBA and SQL, plus experience with TRS and cross-border derivatives in a Hong Kong setting. Fluency in English and a collaborative, results-driven approach are essential.
Monitor, compile and analyze stock inventory supply and utilization across internal channels. Establish regular data review mechanisms; collect, dissect and analyze client requirements for TRS short-position business to generate actionable insights for business expansion and strategy refinement.
Develop and continuously enhance quantitative inventory pricing models, implement daily dynamic pricing to ensure professional, reasonable and market-aligned pricing outcomes.
Execute daily inventory deployment to underpin stable operations of TRS short-position and cross-border derivatives businesses.
Enhance functionalities of the inventory management system in response to front-line business requirements and market evolution. Refine end-to-end inventory-related policies and operating procedures to boost operational efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Statistics or Finance are preferred.
Sound knowledge of global securities trading, settlement and regulatory regimes. CFA / FRM charter holders, candidates with hands‑on financial modelling experience or relevant competition awards are preferred.
Minimum 2‑3 years of Hong-Kong-based experience in cross-border derivatives, TRS transactions and securities short-selling. Solid familiarity with trading, settlement and compliance rules for A-shares, Hong Kong stocks and US equities.
Proficient in Python, VBA, SQL and other data-analytics tools, with strong data-processing and quantitative-analysis capabilities.
Fluent English for cross-border business communication. Meticulous, rigorous and result-oriented, with good resilience under pressure, problem-solving skills and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
