Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a delivery-focused professional to support strategic platform and market infrastructure initiatives within the Post-Trade Division. You will collaborate with business, operations, technology and cross-functional teams to drive hands-on delivery across requirements gathering, testing, and rollout activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, system implementation, testing, workflow enhancement, or platform delivery within financial services or technology environments.
• Experience supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, issue tracking, implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, operations, and technology teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and evolving project environment with multiple concurrent initiatives and changing priorities.
• Exposure to platform delivery, market infrastructure enhancement, ecosystem initiatives, or innovative technology-enabled solutions supporting trading, clearing, settlement, custody, or related financial services workflows is advantageous.
• Familiarity with climate-related products, sustainable finance initiatives, or related market developments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of strategic platform and market infrastructure initiatives across requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and rollout activities.
• Assist in gathering, analysing, documenting, and validating business requirements, workflows, operational processes, and functional specifications.
• Support review and enhancement of post-trade workflows, operational models, settlement processes, and ecosystem connectivity requirements.
• Prepare test scenarios, coordinate testing activities, track issues and defects, and support user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
• Support production readiness activities, operational process reviews, implementation tracking, and post-launch monitoring.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders across Post-Trade, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance, Legal and other teams to support project execution.
• Maintain project documentation, issue logs, status trackers, implementation updates, meeting materials, and delivery reporting.
• Support research and analysis relating to market infrastructure developments, workflow innovation, and climate-related ecosystem initiatives.
• Contribute to ad hoc initiatives, operational reviews, and process enhancement activities.

Job Summary:

Support strategic platform and market infrastructure initiatives within the Post-Trade Division related to HKEX’s Core Climate ecosystem and broader climate-related market infrastructure developments.

The role will work closely with business, operations, technology, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive hands-on delivery across business analysis, workflow review, operating model enhancement, testing, implementation, and operational readiness activities.

This is a delivery-focused role requiring both stakeholder coordination and active execution capability in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment with evolving priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives.

Job Duties:

• Project Delivery Support: Support the delivery of strategic platform andmarket infrastructureinitiatives across requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and rollout activities.
• Business Analysis & Documentation: Assist in gathering, analysing, documenting, and validating business requirements, workflows, operational processes, and functional specifications.
• Operating Model & Workflow Review: Support review and enhancement of post-trade workflows, operational models, settlement processes, and ecosystem connectivity requirements.
• Testing & Implementation Coordination: Prepare test scenarios, coordinate testing activities, track issues and defects, and support user acceptance testing and implementation activities.
• Operational Readiness Support: Support production readiness activities, operational process reviews, implementation tracking, and post-launch monitoring.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Platform Delivery Experience (Highest Priority): 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, system implementation, testing, workflow enhancement, or platform delivery within financial services or technology environments.
• Business Analysis & Testing Capability: Experience supporting requirements gathering, documentation, testing coordination, issue tracking, implementation, or operational readiness activities.
• Stakeholder Coordination Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, operations, and technology teams.
• Adaptability & Delivery Mindset: Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving project environment with multiple concurrent initiatives and changing priorities.
• Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and execution capabilities with attention to detail.
• Market Infrastructure / Technology Exposure(Advantageous): Exposure to platform delivery, market infrastructure enhancement, ecosystem initiatives, or innovative technology-enabled solutions supporting trading, clearing, settlement, custody, or related financial services workflows is advantageous.
