Job summary

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Ltd is seeking an Associate in Post Trade Business Implementation and Analytics for a 12-month contract in Hong Kong. You will support a platform upgrade project within Risk Systems and Analytics Solutions, performing UAT planning and coordinating with IT to deliver milestones.

The role requires strong communication, experience in large-scale UAT, and proficiency with Excel, VBA, Python and SQL, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

We are looking for a high calibre individual to join the Risk Systems and Analytics Solutions Team under Clearing & Depository of HKEX’s Operations Division, who will help us on strategically important initiatives relevant to the platform upgrade project. Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

• Review user requirements and functional specifications and translate them into test cases
• UAT planning andexecutionintight timeline
• Follow up on test cases / scripts and document test results and problem logs in systematic manner
• Assistin maintaining UAT problem logs and coordinate with IT development team toidentifythe resolution and retest strategy
• Contribute totimelydelivery of the project in line with project scope and expectation

Requirements:

• University Degree, preferably in Risk Management / Engineering /Mathematicsor related subject
• At least5years of relevant experience, preferably in well-established financial organizations
• Experience inmedium orlarge scaleproject UAT
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Familiar with various project management toolseg.Confluence, JIRA,etc..
• Familiarity with equity derivatives is a plus
• Proficient with Excel, VBA and preferably the ability to work with programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• A team player and a self-starter, who can proactively engage with peers and clients, take ownership to ensuretimelycompletion of all deliverables
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a team and adapt style to ensure the project is successful
