Job summary

China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company Limited is seeking an Analyst to support the Head of Risk Management and collaborate with a senior team member on operational risk management tasks and projects in our Hong Kong office.

You will leverage KRIs, RCSA, and loss data; conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and thematic reviews to identify weaknesses and track corrective actions; help develop risk policies and maintain BCP with drills; participate in new product

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in operational risk management, internal control, or audit in banking/financial services.
• FRM/CFA qualification would be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin/Putonghua.

Job description

Report to the Head of Risk Management, and work with Senior team member on Operational Risk Management tasks and projects.

Key responsibilities

Support operational risk management by leveraging various tools, including Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and loss data collection and reporting.

Assist in operational risk incident investigations, root cause analysis, and thematic reviews to identify internal control weaknesses, recommend rectification actions, and track completion status.

Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of operational risk policies and procedures.

Support the enhancement and maintenance of the firm's Business Continuity Plan (BCP), including coordinating BCP drills.

Participate in new product/business initiatives and liaise with stakeholders in the Hong Kong office and Head Office to conduct operational risk assessments for new businesses and products.

About you

Degree holder of above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related discipline.

1–3 years of relevant experience in operational risk management, internal control, or audit within banking or financial services; knowledge of IT risk and Cyber Security risk is an advantage.

Holder of relevant professional qualification (FRM/CFA) would be an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good inter-personal and communication skills.

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin/Putonghua.
