Responsibilities

  • Lead development and management of the team’s forensic technologies service offerings and capabilities.
  • Support management of complex fraud and corruption investigations using forensic technologies.
  • Consult with clients to understand their eDiscovery requirements.
  • Perform computer forensics activities including preservation, analysis, data recovery, email extraction, and database examination.
  • Prepare electronically stored information for Relativity processing and data conversions.
  • Allocate resources for processing, data loading and hosting based on deadlines.
  • Gather and document client and project requirements and manage them.
  • Provide hands-on RelativityOne support (aiR for Review/Privilege) and related workflows, plus complex searches and productions.
  • Act as client advocate to prioritize new requirements for the development team.
  • Ensure quality work and timely delivery; maintain project records and chain-of-custody documentation.
  • Participate in business development activities and share industry trends with the team.
  • Update the team on latest industry trends, technologies, and topics of discussion.

Job description

Associate Director, eDiscovery Project Management

Lead in the development and management of the team’s forensic technologies service offerings and capabilities.

Play a supporting role in the management of complex fraud and corruption investigations, particularly those involving the use of forensic technologies.

Consult and understand the requirements of clients in relation to computer forensics.

Perform computer forensics activities including digital evidence preservation, analysis, data recovery, tape recovery, electronic mail extraction, and database examination.

Prepare electronically stored information for processing in Relativity by performing data extraction from standard image formats to more complex data conversions and tape restorations.

Work closely with operations team to ensure proper allocation of resources for processing, data loading and hosting based on deadlines and priorities.

Responsible for gathering client and project requirements and ensuring requirements are properly documented and managed

Responsible for hands‑on technical support and service in RelativityOne, including but not limited to major areas such as aiR for Review; aiR for Privilege. Analytics; Integration Points; ; creating custom workflows using fields, choices, layouts, views and dashboards; managing batches; Event Handlers; running scripts; persistent highlighting; Redact; RSMF; Dynamic Objects; creating and running complex searches and delivering complex STRs; managing users, permissions and groups; object level security; Case Dynamics; creating and running productions; privilege logs; imaging and OCR’ing documents; and ARMs.

Act as client advocate to ensure that where there are new requirements, the development team is aware of the prioritization of the need

Adhere to driving quality work product and for the team and deliver all work within established timeframes.

Maintain accurate and current records of all aspects of project relating to job tracking, specifications and chain of custody‑related documents.

Responsible for daily activities of projects including interaction with other team members, leaders and client personnel.

Take a proactive role in the company’s business development activities including attending marketing events and working with the marketing team.

Update the team on latest industry trends, technologies, and topics of discussion.

Requirements
Knowledge and experience

At least five years of technical and direct computer forensics experience.

Extensive knowledge in computer forensic and the EDRM lifecycle software within the context of conducting investigations.

Understanding and working knowledge of the eDisclosure/eDiscovery workflow, spanning data collection through production.

Thorough understanding of standard evidence handling procedures.

Creative problem‑solving skills to proactively address client needs

Flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities during investigations

Excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills

Willingness and ability to travel, even at short notice

Qualifications and specialist skills

University degree level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Forensics, or relevant field. Or.

5+ years’ experience in digital forensics & eDiscovery

Extensive experience with Encase, FTK, Nuix, Cellebrite, knowledge of Relativity/RCA a plus.
