Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC in Hong Kong seeks a Control Manager – Associate to strengthen end-to-end risk and control processes within the Treasury and Chief Investment Office. You will partner with stakeholders to identify control gaps, design and evaluate controls, and support a proactive risk culture.

The role involves collaboration across Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit to reduce operational risk and support regulatory examinations and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years in financial services controls, risk management, audit, QA, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of control and risk management concepts.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with AI/transformation or automation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end analysis of operational risk and control environments, identifying control gaps and weaknesses.
• Support Risk & Control Self-Assessments at global, regional, and legal entity levels.
• Monitor and assess operational risk, evaluate new initiatives for control implications, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain governance forums and support business control agendas.
• Provide guidance on controls and operational risk to business partners.
• Collaborate with control function teams across Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit.
• Manage control-related activities including testing, issue/Actions, and regulatory change management.
• Support regulatory examinations, audits, and other reviews related to the business.
• Participate in projects and address diverse issues and initiatives as they arise.
