Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Government Relations within the Corporate Communications Division. The role drives HKEX's stakeholder engagement with government officials, regulators and industry bodies, delivering timely updates and feedback to the Group on policy developments and market impacts.

The successful candidate will lead meetings, develop submissions and briefing materials, and support CCD budgeting and procurement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Government Relations, Public Policy, or related finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Support HKEX's government relations strategy and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings, and post-engagement reports with government officials and regulators.
• Draft submissions, speaking points, decks, and official correspondence.
• Monitor policy developments and prepare briefing notes with financial implications.
• Collaborate with CCD and other teams to align messages across divisions.
• Map stakeholders and develop targeted engagement plans for strategic priorities.
• Assist in divisional budgeting, procurement and related controls.
