Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead centralized E&M materials and equipment procurement, aiming at cost reductions and efficient supply chain management.

You will manage contracts (including L/C), oversee supplier networks, analyze market trends, and ensure timely purchasing to maximize cost efficiency while working with bilingual teams in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Engineering, Cost Management, Materials, or Supply Chain–related disciplines.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in E&M materials and equipment procurement or cost management.
• Familiar with supply chain management and E&M materials management.
• Strong command of both written and spoken Chinese and English.
• Proficient in mainstream office software; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience in Mainland China/overseas procurement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement centralized procurement for E&M materials or equipment and reduce procurement costs.
• Handle contract management including L/C documents and resolve disputes.
• Manage suppliers and expand supplier resources.
• Conduct market price trend analysis and procure timely to ensure cost efficiency.

Job description

Implement centralized procurement, responsible for E&M materials or equipment procurement, adopting effective strategies to reduce procurement costs

Handle contract management including L/C documents; proper resolution of contractual disputes

Manage suppliers and expand supplier resources

Conduct regular market price trend analysis and procure in a timely manner to ensure maximum cost efficiency

Requirements:

Degree or above in Engineering, Cost Management, Materials, or Supply Chain–related disciplines

Minimum 8 years’ experience in E&M materials and equipment procurement or cost management, with relevant experience in main contractors / E&M contractors; familiar with supply chain management and E&M materials management

Strong command of both written and spoken Chinese and English

Good leadership skills and professional integrity; detail-minded and highly efficient

Proficient in mainstream office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP or digital procurement systems is an advantage

Experience in Mainland China/overseas procurement is preferred

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Senior Purchasing Officer
