Job summary

Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. is seeking a Public Relations professional to support copy-writing, media relations, and event materials production in Hong Kong.

The role involves coordinating advertising plans, media buying, and production of brochures, posters and show-related collateral. The ideal candidate holds a degree in PR/Communications or journalism, with 2+ years in PR/Marketing Communications and strong English/Mandarin/Cantonese copy-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in PR or Communications, Journalism or equivalent.
• Min 2 years in PR or Marketing Communications with media contacts in HK is an advantage.
• Strong written English, Mandarin and Cantonese with copy-writing skills a must.
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; media relations ability.
• Willing to travel overseas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in copy-writing and checking marketing brochures, executive speeches, statements to the media, and press releases.
• Assist in development and execution of advertising planning, media buying, advertisement production.
• Print & production of event materials: brochures, flyers, posters, catalogues, e-news, e-flyers, e-cards.
• Coordinate onsite media support for shows.
• Handle clerical and administrative duties to ensure smooth team operation.

Job description

Assist the team in copy-writing and checking marketing brochures, executive speeches, statements to the media, and press releases;

Assist the team in the development and execution of advertising planning, media buying, advertisement production;

Print & production of all event-related materials such as brochures, flyers, preview, posters, catalogue and post-show reports, e-newsflash, e-flyer, e-card;

Coordinate all kinds of onsite media support for and during shows;

Handle clerical and administrative duties to ensure smooth operation of the team.

Requirements:

Degree holder in any disciplines, preferably in PR, Communications, Language, Journalism or equivalent;

Minimum 2 years’ solid working experience in PR or Marketing Communications with strong contacts to media in Hong Kong is an advantage;

Good command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese with excellent copy-writing skills is a must;

Good organization skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills and media relations skills;

Good knowledge in MS-Office and Chinese Word Processing;

Well-organized, detail-minded, willing to work under pressure and good team player;

Willing to travel overseas;

Candidates with more experience will be considered as a position of Public Relations Officer.
