Next Sourcing Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Product Manager to support fashion lines across clothing, accessories and bags for Next UK. You will work closely with the Lead Product Manager on development, strategy and design execution.

This hands-on role involves trend research with UK teams, CAD design support using Illustrator/Photoshop, and driving timely sampling, pricing and range presentations in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in Fashion Design, Sourcing, Buying or strategic Product Development in the UK, US or European Markets.
• Experience with Adobe Design Packages or Ai Design is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Product Manager to join our Hong Kong team, working across clothing, accessories, and bags for Next UK. Reporting directly to the Lead Product Manager, this hands-on role combines product development and strategic planning with design execution.

The Role:

Strategy & Sales: Manage annual sales targets. Developing & executing product strategies to drive departmental growth. Proactively drive departmental objectives by identifying and working into new opportunities.

Trend Research: Partner closely with UK Buying and Design teams to ensure our fashion offer remains innovative and relevant. Track UK and global trends---including regional inspiration trips (e.g., Tokyo, Korea) and visit suppliers in mainland China to identify new opportunities.

Design & CADs: Create commercial design concepts to support your strategy, technical CAD drawings (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop), and detailed design packs across clothing, accessories, and bags.

Range Presentations: Assist in preparing and hosting range presentations for customer visits in our Hong Kong, Shanghai, and UK offices.

Sampling & Production: Work with Merchandising and Technical teams to ensure on-time sampling, accurate fitting, and target price points. Communicate and resolve issues promptly and professionally to ensure projects move forward.

About You:

You are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with 1-3 years’ experience in Fashion Design, Sourcing, Buying or strategic Product Development in the UK, US or European Markets. Experience with Adobe Design Packages or Ai Design is advantageous. You bring strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a commercial mindset to a fast-paced environment. You have a high drive to learn and step up with guidance from management.
