The Senior Environmental Manager will lead EIA/EP compliance, oversee multidisciplinary teams, liaise with regulators and stakeholders, and drive environmental programmes across major capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Membership of a recognized professional body is an advantage.
• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) preferred.
• Specialist knowledge in EM&A, regulatory compliance and licensing, air quality or noise assessment, and/or green building design is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing environmental programmes and large multidisciplinary projects.
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement with regulatory authorities on major infrastructure projects.
• Sound knowledge of Hong Kong environmental legislation and its application to large-scale development projects.
• Good organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua) and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of environmental mitigation measures arising from AA projects, ensuring compliance with EIA Ordinance, EPs and other environmental legislation.
• Manage environmental consultants, specialist consultants and contractors to deliver EIA and EP requirements, environmental programmes and project readiness initiatives.
• Liaise with government departments, regulatory authorities, green NGOs and other stakeholders on environmental matters related to AA projects.
• Support the management of project-related communication channels, including project websites, public enquiries and stakeholder communications.
• Contribute to development and implementation of environmental initiatives in EM&A, regulatory compliance and licensing, air quality, water quality, noise management and green building certification (e.g. BEAM Plus / LEED).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related disciplines

• Minimum 6 years' relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role

• Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g. HKIE, CIWEM, HKIQEP or equivalent) is an advantage

• Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred

• Specialist knowledge and experience in EM&A, regulatory compliance and licencing, air quality assessment, noise assessment, and/or green building design are an advantage

• Proven experience in managing environmental programmes and/or large-scale multidisciplinary projects

• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and liaison with regulatory authorities on major infrastructure or public projects
