Qualifikationen

• Bachelor degree or above, preferably in Insurance Studies or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years in the insurance industry, with emphasis on General Insurance and Financial Lines; professional liability experience preferred.
• ACII, ANZIIF and IA license holder preferred.
• Proactive, collaborative team player; able to work independently; detail-minded; sound judgement; analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with underwriting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance intermediaries and distribution partners.
• Strong written and spoken communication in Mandarin and English.

Aufgaben

• Independently underwrite financial lines products for SME clients, including professional liability, within authority limits.
• Conduct risk assessments, determine coverage and pricing, issue quotes, endorsements, and policy documentation.
• Review new business and renewals to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to underwriting guidelines; monitor profitability.
• Implement prudent underwriting practices aligned with the company's underwriting philosophies and profitability targets.
• Support portfolio management activities, including tracking performance against business plans and profitability targets.
• Assist with marketing initiatives, product presentations, and development of client-facing materials to promote Financial Lines offerings.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with insurance intermediaries and distribution channels; explore new business opportunities.
• Respond to intermediary inquiries and provide timely service within defined service standards.
• Align underwriting decisions with profitability targets; maintain documentation and audit trails for compliance.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, product development, and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and internal controls; elevate issues as needed.
• Prepare and present performance reports to management; identify issues and propose corrective actions.
