Job summary

CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited is seeking a results-driven professional to manage routine operations in the Clearing & Payments Team in Hong Kong. You will oversee inward/outward cheque clearing, autopay, FPS, payroll, and ATM services, ensuring efficiency and compliance while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

The role requires 3–5 years in clearing and payments, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin).

Qualifications

• University or above is required.
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experiences in clearing and payments.
• Strong analytical abilities and time-management.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Chinese including Mandarin.
• Good PC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine operations in the Clearing & Payments Team, supporting business and clients across inward/outward cheque clearing, autopay (eDDA), payroll, FPS and ATM services.
• Cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth clearing & payments operations.
• Review and enhance operating procedures to improve efficiency and controls across key processes.
• Identify process gaps and develop control prototypes to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
• Generate management reporting using data analysis.
• Reconcile ledger balances and handle disputes for multiple payment channels (ATM, EPS, Cirrus, Jet Payment, EPSCO Bill Payment, China Union Pay, JCB, P2P and Visa Plus Settlement).
• Participate in various projects and business initiatives.

Responsible to manage routine operations involved in the Clearing & Payments Team with general services supporting business and our clients including but not limited to inward and outward cheque clearing, autopay (eDDA), payroll, Faster Payment System (FPS) and ATM services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations are up and running by managing different kind of transaction such as inward and outward cheque clearing, autopay (eDDA), payroll, Faster Payment System (FPS) and ATM services.

• Cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations on clearing & payments

• Review and enhance the operational procedures to improve the efficiency and controls to key processes.

• Identify process loopholes and respective control prototypes to mitigate operational and compliance risks.

• With the use of data analysis, to generate and prepare management reporting.

• Reconcile ledger balance and handle dispute for different payment channels (ATM, EPS, Cirrus, Jet Payment, EPSCO Bill Payment, China Union Pay, JCB, P2P and Visa Plus Settlement)

• Participate in different projects and business initiatives.

Requirements:

• University or above is required
