Job summary

ALL-STAR AGENCY is seeking an Assistant Manager – Corporate Planning & Business Performance in Hong Kong to support senior management with planning, performance monitoring and management reporting.

The role focuses on financial analysis, strategy support and preparing clear presentations for senior stakeholders. 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial banking is preferred, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc management reports consolidating financial and business performance data.
• Support formulation of business strategies, annual plans and key projects with structured analysis.
• Liaise between Head Office and Hong Kong Branch on initiatives ensuring consistency and follow-ups.
• Design, track and update business performance and financial KPIs to help management monitor results.
• Provide analytical support on ad-hoc projects with data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Improve internal communication materials to convey strategic priorities clearly across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc management reports, consolidating financial and business performance data into clear spreadsheets, decks and summaries.
• Support the formulation of business strategies, annual plans and key projects by structuring analysis, building scenarios and translating ideas into executable plans.
• Act as a liaison between Head Office and the Hong Kong Branch on business and operations‑related initiatives, ensuring information is consistent and follow‑ups are completed.
• Design, track and update business performance and financial KPIs, helping management monitor results and highlight areas requiring action.
• Provide analytical support on ad‑hoc projects and management initiatives, delivering data‑driven insights and recommendations.
• Assist in improving internal communication materials so that strategic priorities and key messages are clearly conveyed across teams.

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the commercial banking industry, ideally in corporate planning, business analysis or finance.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with good presentation ability and a proactive, result‑driven mindset.
• Self‑motivated, able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, comfortable preparing management reports, dashboards and presentations.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, with fluent Mandarin for effective communication with Head Office and regional stakeholders.
