Job summary

Hoper Recruitment Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant/ IT Manager to lead IT projects in a multinational logistics setting. You will manage a programming team and coordinate with global business and technical groups.

Requirements: strong project leadership, 3PL/EDI experience, English and Mandarin fluency. PMP/ PMI-ACP or Agile cert preferred; more experience may be considered for Manager level.

Qualifications

• Degree or above in Computer Sciences, IT, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• PMP / PMI-ACP / Agile cert is preferred.
• Proven experience in 3PL logistics, supply chain systems, or EDI implementation, minimum 2 years of EDI/XML/API experience.
• Strong technical fluency across software development & IT infrastructure.
• Familiar with IT security best practices and frameworks.
• Experience in solution of supply chain/ logistics, 3PL and FMCG experience is a plus.
• Able to work independently and deal with tight project schedule.
• Good team player, able to influence others and work in multi-cultural environment.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with business teams, and technical teams to communicate requirements, timelines, change requests, and provide project risk analysis
• Lead & control the project related risk management process & ad-hoc tasks as assigned
• Manage and mentor a team of programmers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment to deliver quality software solutions.
• Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of core logistics systems critical to warehouse management, transportation, and supply chain operations.
• Provide support to EDI environment including trouble-shooting, bug fixing and ad-hoc queries
• Work with cross-functional and global teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives, ensuring system interoperability and compliance with international standards
• Conduct UAT, keep the result records and present system demonstration.
• Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of IT systems, implementing best practices for data protection and disaster recovery.

Job duties
