Job summary

Hongkong Land Limited seeks an experienced Building Services Engineer to maintain telecommunication and SMATV systems across our commercial properties. You will coordinate with maintenance vendors, prepare repair tenders and oversee contract renewals to ensure high service standards.

Requirements include a degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Telecommunication Engineering, with MHKIE or Grade B Electrical Worker registration preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Telecommunication Engineering.
• MHKIE or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Certificate of Grade B Registration of Electrical Worker preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in commercial building operation and maintenance.
• Strong analytical capabilities, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good PC skills with AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, etc.
• BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Maintain telecommunication and SMATV systems in existing commercial properties.
• Monitor and coordinate with maintenance service vendors to ensure a high standard of upkeep for telecommunication and SMATV systems.
• Prepare repair tenders and issue work orders for system maintenance.
• Oversee the performance of maintenance service vendors and manage contract renewals.
• Handle tenant complaints related to these systems and coordinate with building teams for improvement works.
• Manage projects involving system upgrades, modifications, and the implementation of innovative technologies.
• Provide operational support for the Central Monitoring Centre.
• Monitor faults in building services systems and coordinate follow-up actions with building teams.
• Support Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Degree holder in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Telecommunication Engineering.
• MHKIE or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Holder of Certificate of Grade B Registration of Electrical Worker is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in commercial building operation and maintenance. [Candidate with more experience will be considered as Engineer.]
• Strong analytical capabilities, sense of responsibility, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Good PC skills with hands on experience in AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, etc.
• Building information modelling (BIM) knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
