Job summary

TUV Rheinland Hong Kong Limited is hiring a Laboratory professional in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong. The role focuses on reviewing inorganic test reports, planning lab operations, and training staff to perform routine tests with strict adherence to ISO/IEC 17025 standards and company policy.

The ideal candidate holds a science/chemistry diploma or higher, has 2–7 years in a testing lab, and is familiar with ICP-OES/ICP-MS and related instruments. Senior roles considered for more experienced applicants.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Science/ Chemistry or related fields.
• 2 to 7 years experience in a testing laboratory.
• Familiar with laboratory testing and machine operations; ICP-MS/ICP-OES preferred.
• Senior Test Chemist would be considered for more experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, check and sign inorganic test reports.
• Plan and control the operation of the laboratory to meet objectives.
• Train and supervise subordinates on performing routine tests.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Implement and maintain laboratory operation according to ISO/IEC 17025 and policies.
• Supervise technicians on performing routine tests.
• Counter-check test results.
• Operate instruments (e.g. ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC-MS, LC-MS/MS) for routine tests.
• Monitor and maintain testing to meet scheduled turnaround time.

Job Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Science/ Chemistry or other related disciplines




• 2 to 7 years experience in the testing laboratory




• Familiar with different testings and machine operations, prefer with ICP-MS / ICP-OES or related testing experience




• Candidate will more experience will be considered as Senior Test Chemist
