Tung Wah Group in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accounting/auditing professional for a 3-year contract. The role focuses on validating documents, ensuring voucher accuracy, and enforcing compliance with HKFRS and statutory reporting.

You will monitor unit performance against budgets and guide staff on Tung Wah policies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate may hold multiple accounting qualifications, from HKCEE to ACCA, with 5+ years of experience and supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Five passes in HKCEE including English, Chinese and Maths.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Hands-on PC skills and knowledge of computerized accounting systems.
• Experience handling full sets of books and accounts.

Responsabilités

• Review the validity of supporting documents from units to substantiate transactions for proper accounting entries.
• Check vouchers for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Review financial statements for Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards and statutory reporting.
• Monitor operating performance of units against the approved budgets.
• Review project accounts to ensure alignment with cost, time frame and scope.
• Supervise subordinates to ensure day-to-day accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and training on Tung Wah policies and regulations of subvention bodies.
• Support system development and enhancements to cope with expansion.
