Job summary

Citi Wealth in Asia seeks a Senior Asia Fixed Income Advisor to expand its Direct to Desk capability. The role focuses on developing tactical fixed income ideas, guiding UHNW clients, and supporting internal advisor networks in Asia Pacific from Hong Kong or Singapore.

You’ll lead discussions on rates, credit, and related investments with a high-touch service model. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in fixed income advisory, strong presentation skills, and familiarity with APAC regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in fixed income markets, research, or advisory roles.
• Advising high-net-worth clients on fixed income strategy in APAC.
• Strong knowledge across global rates and credit markets.
• Experience in fixed income due diligence processes.
• Ability to translate market information into actionable advice.
• Strong presentation skills for internal and client events.
• Familiarity with APAC regulatory frameworks and licensing.
• Regional licenses or ability to obtain them quickly.
• Asian language proficiency is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop fixed income narratives and actionable trade ideas for Citi Wealth Asia clients.
• Build and manage a direct book of UHNW clients with real-time strategy guidance.
• Provide market insights and content to internal advisor networks.
• Lead internal training and investment forums to grow fixed income knowledge.
• Support APAC Head of Fixed Income Advisory and nurture talent.
• Ensure compliance with risk, regulatory standards and firm policies.
