Job summary

FGS Global is seeking an HR & Operations Manager, Asia, on a 6-month contract based in Hong Kong. You will oversee HR operations, employee records, payroll liaison, and onboarding/offboarding across Asia, supporting senior executives and working closely with the COO and Finance teams.

This role requires strong English and Chinese communication, a client-service mindset, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across Singapore, HK, and mainland China.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting senior executives in a multinational company.
• Strong English and Chinese language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day HR-related enquiries from employees.
• Administer and supervise the firm’s HR system and maintain employee records.
• Respond to HR reporting requests from senior management and generate relevant reports.
• Track leaves for Singapore, Hong Kong and mainland China.
• Assist with renewal of corporate benefits schemes, such as health insurance.
• Coordinate with payroll vendor on payroll updates.
• Draft employee contracts and other HR documents.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding across Singapore, HK, and mainland China.
• Coordinate with IT for onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Monitor probation deadlines and arrange reviews.
• Oversee exit procedures and contracts for interns and freelancers.
• Assist visa applications and align with immigration regulations.
• Support HR programs and recruitment processes with Asia COO/Asia Talent Coordinator.
• Liaise between regional offices and central HR.
