Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an API Integration Engineer to join our growing fintech integration team. You will guide merchants through API/SDK configuration, debugging, and go-live, acting as the technical advisor during onboarding and post-go-live support.

The role requires 3 years in software development or technical support, hands-on REST APIs/webhooks experience, and fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Hybrid work with medical benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of software development or technical support experience in Tech/FinTech.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and logs.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Java, JavaScript, PHP, Python, Go, or C#).
• Excellent client-facing skills with fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Guide merchants through API/SDK configuration, debugging, testing, go-live, and post-launch maintenance.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve integration-related issues and escalations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Merchant Care to streamline onboarding and share merchant feedback.
• Keep developer libraries, plugins, and integration docs up to date.

The Integration Engineer is expected with software development background to guide merchants through the implementation of the solutions. You will bridge the gap between complex payment APIs and business requirements, acting as the primary technical advisor during onboarding, integration, and post-go-live support.
