Job summary

Michael Page (Hong Kong) is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to oversee APAC tax compliance, planning, and advisory across multiple markets. The role requires extensive regional tax knowledge and strong collaboration with Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams.

You will manage tax filings, provisions, and reporting while guiding transfer pricing documentation and cross-border initiatives. Fluency in English with Cantonese/Mandarin being a plus will help in multi-country interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related discipline.
• 8-12+ years of tax experience from Big 4 and/or multinational corporations.
• Strong knowledge of regional tax regulations, transfer pricing, and international taxation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional tax compliance, including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing across APAC markets.
• Manage tax filings, tax provisions, and tax reporting in accordance with local regulations and group requirements.
• Provide tax advisory support on business operations, cross-border transactions, restructuring projects, and new market expansions.
• Lead transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with OECD and local tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities on tax audits and inquiries.
• Identify tax risks and opportunities, implementing effective tax planning initiatives.
• Monitor changes in regional tax laws and assess potential business impacts.
• Partner closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, and Commercial teams on tax-related matters.
