OAC Group Limited is engaged to assist a global banking institution for an Infrastructure Manager position based in Central, Hong Kong. You will act as an individual contributor supporting critical physical and virtual infrastructure across the APAC region.

The role focuses on infrastructure and cloud management, Azure- and VMware-based solutions, and coordinating with vendors to ensure smooth operations and compliance. Extensive regional experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 8+ years working with physical and virtual infrastructure.
• More than 5 years managing Microsoft Azure and VMware.
• 5+ years working with Enterprise SAN/NAS storage, storage fabrics, replication, backup and recovery solutions.
• Extensive experience with supporting overseas working environments.

Responsabilités

• Infrastructure and cloud management—plans, develops, configures, implements, administers and maintains systems across Asia Pacific.
• Technology expertise—serves as a technology expert and vendor coordinator for smooth operations.
• Project responsibilities—gathers requirements, evaluates technologies, and recommends Azure-based solutions.
• Advanced support—provides 2nd and 3rd tier support and coordinates with vendors when necessary.
• Process and compliance—develops processes, documentation, metrics and reports to drive standardization and compliance.
• Security and resilience—collaborates with managed services vendors on vulnerability/patch management, monitoring and drills.
• Subject matter expertise—specialized in systems and storage management on Azure, VMware, and SAN/NAS storage.
