Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong is seeking a Compliance professional for the Asia Fixed Income Division (FID). Based in Hong Kong, you will advise on policy interpretation, support the New Product Approval process, and collaborate with regional teams to ensure regulatory compliance across FX, rates, credit and commodities.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is desired. The role emphasizes engagement with trading desks, policy development, training delivery, and handling regulatory inquiries and audits

Qualifications

• Understanding of relevant products (FX, interest rate, credit, commodities) and Sales & Trading practices.
• Experience in financial services, preferably with Sales & Trading or Compliance roles.
• Knowledge of Asian markets and regulatory regimes, esp. HK and Mainland China.
• Ability to review data, identify risks and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide oral and written compliance advice on policies, rules and procedures.
• Engage with FID desks, offering regulatory guidance and support.
• Assist in creating/updating policies in response to regulatory changes.
• Contribute to strategic projects with regional/global legal/compliance teams.
• Design and deliver training on compliance topics for FID.
• Support monitoring, testing, and escalation on compliance issues.
• Assist with regulatory enquiries and audits.
