Job summary

PURPLE APAC, based in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the APAC finances, including invoicing, payroll, tax, and month-end close. The role reports to the Finance Director in the UK and the APAC Managing Director.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Cantonese, detail-oriented, and proficient with Excel, Peachtree, Xero and Sage. Qualified accountants have an advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong English and Cantonese communications.
• Detail oriented with financial accuracy.
• IFRS knowledge and accounting software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day APAC finances in HK, including payroll and tax.
• Lead month-end close and management accounting with FD and FP&A.
• Coordinate annual audit with Hong Kong and Singapore auditors.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and maintain fixed asset registers.
• Ensure compliance with HK tax requirements and government filings.
• Maintain central filing of employment contracts and client contracts.
