Annotation/Data Analyst I (Junior) to work with our AI Lab team to help build high quality datasets, conduct analysis on output and improve our data science solutions. As a tech pioneer within a new AI lab, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities

• Annotate dataset in English (French is a bonus)
• Create quality training data for research in Artificial Intelligence
• Set up annotation projects using Python
• Perform error analysis to provide insights for AI solution improvement
• Explore using Large Language Models for pre-annotation
• Work with a team of talented Data Scientists and AI Developers to break down a business problem and build machine learning solutions
• Serve as quality control, performing validation tasks
• Work from home in a flexible work arrangement

Qualifications

• Strong comprehensive skills in English; French is a bonus
• Comfortable doing repetitive work with textual data
• Basic Python programming skill
• Part-time employment could be considered for the right candidate
• Curiosity in the field of Scientific Research or Artificial Intelligence would be a plus
• Completion of High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics / Data Analytics related discipline would be a plus
