Job summary

Ikas International (Asia) Limited is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a major data transformation initiative in Hong Kong. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and data warehouses to support reporting and BI.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and developers to ensure reliable data assets across platforms. Experience with Azure Databricks, Spark, PySpark, SQL tuning, and Azure data services is essential; familiarity with Qlik Sense/View is a plus.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of data engineering, ETL, or data warehousing experience.
Hands-on with Azure Databricks, Spark, and PySpark; SQL performance tuning.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines across multiple platforms.
Build and optimise data warehouse and analytics environments for BI requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to ensure high-quality data assets.
Integrate and transform data from legacy and modern systems for seamless data flow.
Support continuous improvement of data platform performance, governance, and best practices.
Contribute to Agile delivery and participate in automation, deployment, and DevOps initiatives.
