Job summary

Leadership Solutions Limited seeks Analyst Programmer for a 1.5-year data base revamp in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. You will design relational data models, implement cloud-native components, and support end-to-end development, testing, and deployment.

The role requires 4+ years IT experience, strong Python and database skills, and hands-on cloud experience with AWS or GCP, plus data pipelines using Spark and ETL/ELT techniques.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years IT experience with at least 2 years in cloud development.
• Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and serverless data services.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL tuning.
• Experience in data modeling, Spark, and API implementation (RESTful).
• Experience in data integration, ETL/ELT, or streaming pipelines.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

Analyst Programmer - Data Base Revamp, AWS, Spark, Python, Relational Data Model

My client is looking for candidates for Analyst Programmers for a customer Data Base revamp for 1.5 years and locaton is in Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate.

Responsibilities:

Undertake system development including programming, testing, implementation and related system maintenance, enhancements, and support tasks.

Design and develop cloud-native application components— serverless APIs, event-driven data pipelines, and containerized batch jobs

Design and implement relational data models, database objects and data access logic

Prepare technical specifications, unit and integration test plans, and system documentation; participate in peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Support user acceptance testing, production cutover, parallel run and post-implementation stabilization.

Job Requirements:

1.Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or equivalent.

2.Minimum 4 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in cloud development.

3.Solid experience in cloud platform e.g. AWS, GCP — hands-on exposure to serverless and managed data services

4.Strong programming skills in Python.

5.Experienced in SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), with strong SQL writing and query performance tuning ability.

6.Experienced in data modelling / Spark framework / API implementation (RESTful).

7.Practical experience in data integration, ETL / ELT, or streaming data pipelines.

8.Familiar with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery practices.

9.Hands-on experience with MDM/Customer 360, entity resolution, data quality management, Kafka/CDC, infrastructure as code (IaC), and Apache Airflow will be an added advantage.
