Sun Life Financial is seeking an Assistant Manager, AML Compliance to coordinate regional data governance and control initiatives across Asia, focusing on AML data governance, data completeness and system enhancements. You will work with Compliance, Operations, Technology, Data and Enterprise teams to establish requirements and oversee remediation activities.

The role requires senior-level experience in financial crime, data governance and cross-functional collaboration, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, law, or related business field.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in financial crime compliance, risk management or data governance.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects in compliance, technology, and operations.
• Familiarity with AML, sanctions and regulatory requirements in Asia.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate regional financial crime data governance and control initiatives across Asia.
• Oversee data flows, identify control weaknesses, and support remediation efforts.
• Provide governance, reporting and project management for Name Screening and Transaction Monitoring.
• Advise Asia units on system/data compliance matters and regulatory findings responses.
• Strengthen regional governance with management reporting and risk updates.
