Job summary

China Taiping Life Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited is seeking an AML (M/SM) - Legal & Compliance Management leader to support AML projects, maintain the AML system and perform control reviews.

The role requires assisting the MLRO, leading the AML team, and communicating with IA and JFIU, while providing day-to-day AML guidance and ensuring regulatory compliance and robust AML frameworks in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Prior working experience in AML advisory and investigations.
• Strong familiarity with Hong Kong legislation and regulatory environment.
• Knowledge in Insure-tech and financial crime requirements.
• Familiar with IA regulatory and other financial crime requirements.
• University graduate with relevant AML background.

Responsibilities

• Support AML related projects, include maintain the AML system and control review.
• Assist MLRO and be the lead of AML team. Communicate with IA and JFIU.
• Provide advice to business/support units on day-to-day AML matters.
• Prepare and update AML/CFT policies and procedures to align with regulations.
• Review establishment and operation of high ML/TF risk relationships.
• Perform ML/TF risk assessments related to customer, country, product, channels.
• Prepare and deliver AML/CFT training and workshops.
• Prepare AML-related reporting materials for senior management oversight.
• Analyze AML data to support control enhancements.
• Lead or support ad-hoc projects such as FATCA & CRS reporting and system improvements.
