Job summary

Hongkong Jet in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to perform certifications, troubleshoot defects, and support CRS issuance.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, adherence to HKCAD/EASA/FAA, and accurate record-keeping, with potential outstation work.

Candidates should hold FAA A&P or HKCAD B1/B2 licenses and a degree in aircraft engineering; minimum 3 years' certifying maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in aircraft engineering is preferred or equivalent experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Minimum 3 years’ active experience in certifying maintenance activities.
• Holds FAA A&P and/or HKCAD B1/B2 licenses; type rating on Gulfstream G650/G700 or Boeing B737-NG is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance certification and support defect troubleshooting and rectification.
• Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS).
• Troubleshoot and rectify airframe, engine, or avionics defects, especially during AOG situations.
• Ensure all maintenance works are performed and recorded properly according to HKCAD/EASA/FAA regulations.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical records and work orders.
• Establish and maintain good relationship with service providers, internal and external customers.
• Supervise technicians and maintain a safe, organized, and FOD-free environment.
• Ad hoc tasks will be assigned by the superior or management.
