UPS is seeking a hands-on operations professional in Hong Kong to oversee cargo loading and unloading from aircraft and to ensure safe, timely transfers across transportation modes. This is a permanent, on-site role with potential for leadership in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The position emphasizes compliance with aviation safety and security standards, supervising teams, training, and aligning local activities with UPS processes to optimize efficiency and minimize risk.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees loading and unloading of cargo from aircraft.
• May manage teams within operations.
• Ensures compliance with aviation regulations, safety protocols, and security measures.
• Administers inventory controls, audits cargo documentation, and utilizes ground support equipment to optimize operational efficiency.
• Manages and oversees the overall cost and financial impact.
• Builds alliances with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Monitors and enhances procedures, providing oversight of training programs and performance standards.
• Applies a broader understanding of the UPS network to adjust local activities and address contingencies.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in regulated locations, evaluating processes, managing risk, and ensuring ongoing compliance with laws and industry regulations.
• Delivers hands-on work, typically related to the core UPS business operations.
• Follows established processes and procedures to execute work efficiently and safely.
• Performs manual work characterized by methods and tasks that are described in detail.
• Works under close supervision.
• Requires little or no prior relevant training or work experience.
