Qualifications

• Experience in system operations, operations automation, applied AI, AIOps, or related field.
• Experience supporting complex or 24/7 business-critical systems is preferred.
• Ability to identify practical AI and automation opportunities and apply tools to real problems.
• Process analysis, SOP design, workflow optimisation, reducing manual work through automation.
• Familiarity with AI Agents, LLMs, workflow automation, RPA, or similar tools.
• Understanding of system monitoring, anomaly detection, incident response, automated recovery, and reliability.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; able to work in a fast-paced, cross-regional environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze trading system operations, workflows, and pain points to develop AI-powered improvement plans.
• Apply AI agents, LLMs, analytics, automation to monitor, analyze data, detect anomalies, and perform tasks.
• Develop self-healing capabilities with auto-diagnosis, response, and recovery under security controls.
• Review and optimize SOPs by standardising and automating repetitive processes.
• Improve alerting, incident classification, escalation, root-cause analysis, and recovery times.
• Collaborate with Trading, Risk, Product, Engineering to translate requirements into AI/automation solutions.
• Establish and track metrics like manual workload, incident response, automation rate, and costs.

About the Role

We are looking for an AI Trading System Operations Specialist to transform our 24/7 trading system operations from manual monitoring and experience-driven intervention into an intelligent, automated, and self-healing operating model.

You will identify practical opportunities to apply AI and automation across system monitoring, incident analysis, operational workflows, and recovery processes. This role focuses on the practical application of AI in trading system operations, rather than developing foundational AI models or core trading systems.

*We are hiring for this position in Taiwan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing trading system operations, workflows, and pain points to develop and implement AI-powered operational improvement plans.
• Apply AI Agents, large language models, intelligent analytics, workflow automation, and related tools to automate monitoring, data analysis, anomaly detection, issue diagnosis, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Develop self-healing capabilities, including intelligent anomaly detection, automated diagnosis, response, and recovery mechanisms within clearly defined security and authorization controls.
• Review and optimize operational SOPs by standardising and automating processes that are inefficient, repetitive, or heavily dependent on manual experience.
• Improve alerting, incident classification, escalation, root-cause analysis, and recovery processes to reduce detection and recovery times and strengthen operational reliability.
• Partner with Trading, Risk, Product, Engineering, and other technical teams to translate operational requirements into executable AI and automation solutions, from solution design and testing through production implementation.
• Establish and track operational efficiency metrics, including manual workload, incident response time, automation rate, recovery efficiency, and operating costs, to measure and continuously improve business impact.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in system operations, operations automation, applied AI, AIOps, intelligent operations, or a related field. Experience supporting complex or 24/7 business-critical systems is preferred.
• Proven ability to identify practical AI and automation opportunities from an operational perspective and apply existing tools to solve real business problems.
• Strong experience in process analysis, SOP design, workflow optimisation, and reducing manual work through digitalisation or automation.
• Familiarity with AI Agents, LLMs, workflow automation, RPA, or other intelligent automation tools, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
• Good understanding of system monitoring, anomaly detection, incident response, automated recovery, and system reliability.
• Strong systems thinking, analytical, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex operational problems into clear and executable solutions.
• Strong ownership and a results-oriented mindset, with experience independently driving operational transformation or automation initiatives from 0 to 1 and measuring outcomes through business metrics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and cross-regional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in trading platforms, brokerage, fintech, digital assets, risk monitoring, or other business-critical 24/7 operating environments.
• Hands-on experience with AIOps, intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, automated incident recovery, or self-healing systems.
• Proven success leading AI-driven operational transformation, SOP automation, or large-scale efficiency improvement initiatives with measurable results.
