Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is supporting a global life insurer's regional technology hub in Hong Kong. They seek a senior technical leader to own the greenfield AI system for policy administration and automated underwriting across Asia, working with regional product owners and market IT teams.

You will dig into data mappings, evaluate ML inputs, and review integration points with engineers, while ensuring robust vendor governance and deployment practices across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Technical Program Management/Architect roles within Insurance or InsurTech.
• Strong grounding in data pipelines, system integration, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/AliCloud).
• Deep knowledge of Policy Administration or Underwriting domains.
• Proven track record taking platforms from zero to live production with vendor oversight.
• Excellent English; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical execution of a greenfield AI system for policy administration and automated underwriting across Asia.
• Dive into data mapping issues, assess ML model inputs, and audit integration points with software engineers.
• Hold external vendors and delivery partners accountable by reviewing their architecture, data models, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with regional product owners and market IT teams to translate complex insurance rules into actionable engineering requirements.
• Establish change management and deployment guidelines across regional platform releases.
