Job summary

CLSA in Hong Kong is seeking a proactive researcher to join the Narrative team in the Research department. You will help upgrade alpha models and link quantitative techniques with narrative extraction to support broking activities.

The role focuses on AI/LLM methods, data science applications, and collaboration with global teams to drive performance, insights, and client solutions in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in STEM; PhD preferred.
• 2–4 years relevant experience.
• Strong AI/LLM and analytical skills.
• Proficient English communication.
• Mandarin working knowledge preferred.
• Experience with programming languages.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Narrative Analyst in building models for basket construction.
• Maintain databases combining financial, textual, and alternative data.
• Assist with AI/LLM methodologies and text analytics requests.
• Support management applying data science to international research.
• Prepare data-driven reports and visualizations for clients.
