Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Productivity expert to orchestrate quality, efficiency, and AI-enabled improvements across engineering teams.

The role emphasizes shift-left quality, designing a unified CI/CD and testing platform, and delivering measurable gains in delivery speed and product quality. Strong backend, AI, and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with hands-on backend/SDET background.
• Expertise in Java ecosystem (Spring, microservices) or Go/C++/Rust with CI/CD and Kubernetes.
• Practical AI engineering experience for testing/productivity scenarios.
• Familiarity with payments/financial systems and money handling correctness.
• Distinctive contributions in quality/productivity space (systems/opensource/patents/talks).
• Strong cross-team influence and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize a quality‑assurance system and metrics framework covering the full lifecycle for engineering orgs without dedicated QA.
• Build and ship AI‑driven capabilities on top of our AI infrastructure for testing and productivity.
• Identify bottlenecks in delivery efficiency and establish metrics to shorten delivery cycles and reduce cost of quality.
• Build and evolve engineering infrastructure (CI/CD pipelines, test‑environment governance, automated testing and productivity platforms).
