Job summary

Hong Kong Economic Times Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to develop AI-powered features and automated workflows, and to design, develop, and maintain scalable server applications using Python and Java. The role focuses on architecting and managing AWS infrastructure to support deployment, collaborating with BA teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.

Ideal candidates have a IT degree and at least two years of software development experience, with hands-on AWS

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in software development.
• Proven experience in designing and developing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Experienced in application development using Cursor.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the AWS cloud platform.
• Practical experience with AI and workflow tools, including: AWS Bedrock, Dify.
• A proactive communicator with strong systematic organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design AI-powered features and automated workflows.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server applications and services using Python and Java.
• Architect, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to support application deployment, focusing on reliability and scalability.
